Reviews for previous Nodding Dog Comedy events
We found the arbitrary seating locations not to our liking. We are 2 people arrived 30 minutes before the show, we were told we were sitting at the front. We had sat at the front at Bramhall the week before and even though that was fine with us we thought it should be someone else in the spotlight as there were loads of tables for 2 where we could sit not taken. The representative from the pub said that there had been a lot of admin going into the evening and we could not change our table. We had some discussion and eventually sat down in the seats allocated. The pub representative came along a few minutes later and said that it would not be good for the comedians to see miserable faces at the front and moved us. Looking at the set up this problem arises because they have table service and they want to know who is sitting at what table. We would be reluctant to return to this venue because of that. At Bramhall we were just told that we could sit at any table for 2

Great comedy and fab venue (other than the pews, which were a tad uncomfortable and needed sanding down a bit - two of our group came away with holes in clothes from rough wood/nails/who knows what! Looking forward to seeing more comedy in Macclesfield soon.
