This Privacy Policy explains how JokePit Ltd ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you use www.jokepit.com. 1. Data we collect

1.1 Account details: when you register we collect your name, email address and password.
1.2 Ticket purchases: when you buy tickets we collect your name, email address and details of your order. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
1.3 Newsletters: if you subscribe to a newsletter we collect your email address.
1.4 Single sign-on: see section 2 below.

2. Single sign-on (such as Google and Microsoft)

2.1 Data we access: if you sign in using a single sign-on provider such as Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and account identifier from that provider. We do not access your contacts, calendar, files or any other data held by the provider.
2.2 How we use it: we use this information solely to create your JokePit account, sign you in, and link your single sign-on account to any existing JokePit account with the same verified email address.
2.3 Sharing: we do not share, sell or transfer this data to any third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. How we use your data

3.1 We use your data to provide our services: managing your account, processing ticket orders, sending you your tickets and receipts, and sending service emails about events you have booked.
3.2 We only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

4. Sharing your data

4.1 We share your data only where necessary to provide our services: with Stripe to process payments, with event organisers so they can manage attendance at events you have booked, and with the service providers that host our infrastructure and deliver our emails.
4.2 We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. Storage and protection

5.1 This data is stored in our database hosted in Europe. It is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and access is restricted to authorised personnel.

6. Retention and deletion

6.1 We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
6.2 You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via our contact form, and we will delete it within 30 days.
