Headliner: Silky
A powerhouse of the UK circuit, Silky has been bringing high-energy musical comedy, brilliant crowd work, and razor-sharp stand-up to audiences worldwide since 1997. A finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards (alongside Lee Mack and Daniel Kitson) and the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, he is praised by icons like John Bishop ("a very, very funny fella... just brilliant") and Jason Manford ("He smashed it"). Opening Act: Alex Stringer
One of the fastest-rising stars on the UK circuit, Alex brings hysterically deadpan delivery and a phenomenal gag rate. Feel bad about knocking some stars off as I’ve been to a lot if your events but usually at The Churchill Tree. While the Frozen Mop is another great Cheshire Pub Co. establishment I’m just not sure it’s as good a venue. Keep up the good work… Already arranging our next visit in December back at the Churchill Tree
