Headliner: Silky
A powerhouse of the UK circuit, Silky has been bringing high-energy musical comedy, brilliant crowd work, and razor-sharp stand-up to audiences worldwide since 1997. A finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards (alongside Lee Mack and Daniel Kitson) and the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, he is praised by icons like John Bishop ("a very, very funny fella... just brilliant") and Jason Manford ("He smashed it"). Opening Act: Alex Stringer
One of the fastest-rising stars on the UK circuit, Alex brings hysterically deadpan delivery and a phenomenal gag rate. Venue was boiling … it wasn’t a hot evening

Watching stand up in the stand of a rugby ground was a novel but enjoyable experience. Definitely the right idea given the audience size and the heatwave. Glorious sunset and no waiting at the bar was a nice touch too. Good acts, really enjoyed Simon Lomas in particular. Very individual style.

The first joke by the final artist was racist - he should t have done a Jewish joke. There were 2 Jews in the audience who found it inappropriate

Great idea to have the event on the terraces otherwise it would have been too warm inside.
