Happy Mondays Comedy continues to bring the magical experience of a live comedy club to you live online via Zoom!  We are very excited to bring you fantastic line up of comedy talent including Golden Buzzer BGT 2020 Finalist Nabil Abdulrashid,  brilliant festival favourite Canadian John Hastings, East Midlands based supermum Hannah East & Pope Lonergan ( As heard on Radio 4). All Hosted by "Utterly charming" (Time Out London ) Siôn James and beamed directly live online via Zoom to the comfort of your own home.

Nabil Abdulrashid
Nabil recently competed in the 2020 series of Britain’s Got Talent, enjoying a triumphant run to the competition’s final, drawing praise from the show’s judges for his hilarious and uncompromising brand of stand-up comedy. Awarding Nabil the coveted ‘Golden Buzzer’ in the first round of the competition, Alesha Dixon praised his “edgy, charismatic” style while David Walliams described both his performance and writing as “perfect”. In a piece suggesting Nabil should have won the competition overall, the Sunday Telegraph described Nabil’s performance in the final as “urgent, uncompromising and refreshingly radical fare, smartly woven into a gag-packed set.”Nabil has made several media appearances as a comedian and social commentator on ITV, BBC2, BBC3, BBC Asian Network, Channel 4, Al Jazeera English, Islam Channel and British Muslim TV. He has also toured across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

John Hastings
John Hastings is a Canadian comedian who has performed all over America, Canada and all the small scary corners of the United Kingdom. Resident compere Edfringe Festival's notorious "Late'n'Live" Over the last fourteen years John Hastings has appeared at every major comedy festival in the world including Edinburgh (2012-2019), Melbourne and Just for Laughs Montreal. He has told jokes on BBC Radio 4, BBC 1, BBC 3, Comedy Central, CTV Australian Comedy Channel, and CBC The Comedy Network.  He is also the COCA Comedian of the Year, a Martin Sims Award Nominee, an Amused Moose Comedy Award winner, and was briefly a viral sensation after Dennis Rodman heckled him in Los Angeles. Hannah East
Hannah is a comedian & Impressionist from Yorkshire and based in The East Midlands. With a sell out show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2020,  she is a story teller about life as a mum!

Pope Lonergan
Comedian, Quaker, drug addict and creator of 'Pope's Addiction Clinic' and 'The Care Home Tour'. As heard on BBC Radio 4.

MC Siôn James
