After another cracking night at The Market Place, Howl Comedy Club returns to Morpeth on Saturday 24th October with another stacked line-up of established circuit favourites and brilliant North East comedy.
And this month, we’ve got a seriously experienced headliner coming to town...
🎤 TOP HEADLINER: JOHN FOTHERGILL
John Fothergill is a genuine comedy circuit heavyweight, with decades of experience performing at some of the biggest comedy clubs and festivals in the UK and around the world.
He’s appeared on The Comedy Store and 8 Out of 10 Cats, performed internationally and shared stages with some of the biggest names in British comedy.
The Guardian summed him up perfectly:

Holding the night together is the brilliant James Kilvington, a hugely likeable comic who knows exactly how to work a room.

🔥 OPENER: JONNY BROOK
Opening the show is the brilliantly distinctive Jonny Brook.
An award-winning, sat-down stand-up, Jonny brings something genuinely different to the Howl stage and will be kicking October's show off in style.
😂 JOHN SMITH
Sharp. Cynical. Witty.
John Smith joins us in the middle with his dry take on the world and plenty of punchlines.
🎤 SUZANNE WARLOCK
And completing October's bill is Suzanne Warlock, whose comedy has been described simply as:
“Hilarious, her humour will catch you off guard.”

Venue was a little crowded, but we weren't too cramped. Single toilets, so expect a line during breaks. Plenty of staff on bar to keep the drinks flowing thankfully. Comedy was worth the unpleasantries, however, and the headliner was hillarious. Host was on-point and kept the audience on their toes. Opening acts were also talented. A great night, and I would recommend to others.
