Whitton Comedy Corner

This will be a night full of laugh-out-loud moments as the UK's finest comedians take to the stage at Whitton Comedy Corner! Entertaining you will be stars of TV, radio and social media...

Sooz Kempner - "incredible energy and quirky humour" - Broadway Baby

Sooz Kempner started comedy in 2009, won Best Newcomer at the Musical Comedy Awards in 2010, and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music that same year. In 2012 she won the Variety Award at the Funny Women Awards. She made her Edinburgh debut in 2014 and performed her eleventh solo hour, Sooz Kempner is Ugly –a show about looks, trolling, and Noel’s House Party– at the 2025 Fringe to jam-packed rooms.

Aaron Simmonds - “a supremely confident and intelligent performer” – Fest

Simmonds’s comedic style is story-based, with clever one-liners interspersed throughout. He offers sharply-observed comedy which is grounded in his disability, but is by no means limited by it.  Amiable, likeable and with a commanding presence on stage, Aaron is an exciting talent and is destined for great things.

Andy Askins - "He just makes you laugh! He’s got funny bones." - John Bishop

Andy Askins has built a reputation as a distinctive and original talent — a performer and joke writer who has toured as support to Jason Manford, John Bishop, Lee Evans and Georgie Carroll, and shared stages with Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, Micky Flanagan, Harry Hill, Rhod Gilbert, Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Russell Howard, Greg Davies and Jack Dee. He has appeared on The John Bishop Show (BBC1) and the John Bishop Christmas Show alongside Kylie Minogue and Olly Murs, recorded for Comedy Central and two series of Live at the Comedy Store, and performed everywhere from a company of soldiers in Saddam Hussein's palace in Iraq to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
