This months HEADLINE ACT is ...
THE DISCOUNT COMEDY CHECKOUT - FULL ADULT IMPROV SHOW!
Regular headliners in comedy clubs all over the UK for over 12 years now, The DCC also brought improvised comedy shows to Teesside over 5 years ago now and this is just one of many monthly residencies they have on the Teesside region. Without doubt, one of the best Improv Sketch groups in the business and the only professional group performing in the area.
Featuring: Chris Lumb (BBC3: Russell Howards Good News), Natalie Smeaton (Britain's Got Talent), and Phil Allan-Smith (BBC1: This is MY House, local legend Ted Hanky/Mikey D).
If you've never seen improvised comedy before, you are in for a real treat. All the games, scenarios, and situations are formed and created from your suggestions ... that's right YOU, the audience.
It's very much in the style of 'Whose Line is it Anyway' but with a modern twist ....and normally a little risker (and often ruder too).

"The comedy is creative and crude, quick and quirky, the performers commit completely to the games and create funny & fantastic characters at a moment's notice." ★★★★★ Remotegoat
"There's a wonderful slapstick nature to it all but they are all impressively literate in film culture and genres too, creating brilliant, quick draw pastiches of popular cinema that will have you in stitches." ★★★★ - Manchester's Finest
"Total fun and instantly engaging." ★★★★★ - WHODARESGRINS
"True Masters of what they do" ★★★★★ Hull comedy Festival
Plus Stand Up Comedy from …
Two Newer Acts in section one TBA Soon
Our Host is
CHRIS LUMB
As seen on 'Russell Howard's Good News' & 'Britain's Got Talent', Chris is a popular MC on the comedy circuit with his warm and welcoming crowd work, sharp impressions, and quick fire wit.
This show is also in conjunction with Mental Health Car Club.
Helping to raise awareness around the associated stigma of talking about mental health.
It ain't weak to speak!
In the UK, more than 4,500 men die by suicide every year—that’s one man every two hours. This alarming statistic underscores the urgent need for change. As car enthusiasts, this group recognise the importance of maintenance and care, mental health deserves the same attention.
