Headliner: Silky
A powerhouse of the UK circuit, Silky has been bringing high-energy musical comedy, brilliant crowd work, and razor-sharp stand-up to audiences worldwide since 1997. A finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards (alongside Lee Mack and Daniel Kitson) and the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, he is praised by icons like John Bishop ("a very, very funny fella... just brilliant") and Jason Manford ("He smashed it"). Opening Act: Alex Stringer
One of the fastest-rising stars on the UK circuit, Alex brings hysterically deadpan delivery and a phenomenal gag rate. Nick Helm was the worst of the three comedians, apparently the F word and the C word must be acceptable as humour, as they were the only words he used. I think he told a real joke with about 5 minutes to go.
