It's our milestone 5th birthday gig, and we are throwing a massive party at the Macclesfield Comedy Club, hosted in the intimate setting of RedWillow Macclesfield. To mark five years of bringing the best live comedy to town, we’ve put together an absolute heavyweight line-up for a night out like no other.
Your phenomenal birthday bill features:
Headliner - Stephen Bailey: The multi-award nominated powerhouse as seen on Live at the Apollo, The Apprentice: You're Fired, and Would I Lie to You?, bringing his trademark cheeky northern charm and razor-sharp gossip.
Opener - Peter McCole: A circuit favorite delivering brilliant, sharply observed storytelling mastery.
Rising Star - Adam Anwar: The award-winning breakout talent (Leicester Comedy Festival Circuit Breaker winner) and one of the circuit's hottest new names.
MC - Jonathan Mayor: The legendary cult figure and savage wit—hailed as Sarah Millican's go-to host and support act—will be holding the reigns and keeping the birthday energy electric all night.

The comedy was pretty weak. Some people in the audience were complaining to the comics but were met with defensive insults rather than clever responses. It was quite uncomfortable. Some people left early as it was so bad. I stayed until the end in case it got better but unfortunately I won’t be returning for the comedy night The event room was really nice. The staff were probably temporary staff but should still have had some training.

The venue didn’t have a wine list & our server didn’t know what the prices were, so we had to google it for her. The comedy was pretty weak.
