Happy Mondays Comedy at The Amersham Arms New Cross bring you a fantastic double bill of Edinburgh Fringe Festival Previews of two brilliant comedians warming up their comedy shows for Edfringe, we have wonderfully talented Ali Woods , following his sell-out debut Edinburgh Fringe run, award-winning stand-up and viral sketch-maker has gained millions of views ( over 100 million views on TikTok) and likes for his relatable online sketches, 'Woods is the real deal' (Evening Standard) plus Award-winning Irish comedian Rory O'Hanlon ( *Replaces Dan Tiernan) , recently starred at Perth Fringeworld Australia and previously performed @ Moscow Irish Comedy Festival alongside Dara O Briain & Ed Byrne , 'a joke every 30 seconds' providing the lols all hosted by your cheeky MC Sion James at the ever popular Amersham Arms.

Half-English, half-Scottish Londoner, Woods is an exciting new stand-up comedian on the UK circuit, having won Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2020 ( Nominated for Best Show at Leicester Fringe 2023). He has also appeared on BBC Radio 4, TalkRadio, TalkSport , featured on LadBible & Buzzfeed UK and hosts his own podcast All I Do Is Fail, as well as having written on sketches for BBC. Award-winning Irish comedian Rory O'Hanlon , recently starred at Perth Fringeworld Australia and previously performed @ Moscow Irish Comedy Festival alongside Dara O Briain & Ed Byrne. A regular face on Irish TV, Rory has been seen on RTE’s New Comedy Awards, Republic of Telly and alongside Des Bishop in Under the Influence. He is also a veteran of stage performing with 12 consecutive solo shows at Edinburgh Fringe.Described by Chortle.co.uk as having 'presence, poise and timing' and by the Irish Times as having 'a joke every 30 seconds' his rapid-fire delivery regularly has audiences crying with laughter.
