TERRY ALDERTON

Terry Alderton has always been something special. With a set full of extraordinary caricatures – where he famously is interrupted, and with his back turned, battles with his TWO inner voices’  - and some stunningly acute impressions, observations and a hyperactive delivery, stand-up performer Terry Alderton is loved by comics and fans alike. Indeed, top TV comedian Eddie Izzard said of him: “He’s a very funny man with a ‘fantastic comedy mind, but someone who really ought to seek some sort of professional help”.

CHRIS WASHINGTON

Wigan born Chris began performing comedy in 2012 and in 2017 made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with his self-produced show 'Dream Big (Within Reason)' after taking all his annual leave in his full-time job as a postman. The gamble paid off and Chris received a nomination for Best Newcomer despite having no management, promoter or PR. A feel-good underdog story which he describes as getting five numbers and the bonus ball on the comedy lottery.

Six months later, Chris posted his last letter, calling it day on a glittering 10 year career as a postman.  He made his TV debut on BBC1 with a 30 minute stand up special ‘Live from the BBC’.  Likened to a “Peter Kay for the smart phone generation”, Chris has also appeared on 'Mock the Week', 'House of Games', 'Stand Up for Live Comedy' (BBC) and 'The Stand Up Sketch Show' (ITV2) as well as hosting a podcast and Radio shows for Radio X.

LOU CONRAN

Lou Conran is a comedian, writer, performer, and a superlative storyteller. She has performed stand up since 2005 all over the UK and more recently Australia, and has the reputation as being an exceptional MC.

As a writer, she has written for R3’s The Verb, R4’s The Show What You Wrote, CBBC presentation with Hacker T Dog, and more notably was a regular contributor to the Standard Issue Magazine.

She has appeared on Radio: R4’s Woman’s Hour, R4’s miniseries ‘You’ve Got To Laugh’, and R4’s It’s Not What You Know, BBC World Service ‘Outlook’. Podcasts: The Grief Cast, The Naked Podcast, Do The Right Thing, and What Goes On Here. Lou has had various TV incarnations, but more recently CH4’s First Dates Hotel, ITV’s Lorraine, and most most significantly an abattoir worker on Emmerdale, and a midwife on Hollyoaks.
