The Comedy Cow – Milton Keynes’ Premier Comedy Club
The Comedy Cow is a stand-up comedy club and promoter of live comedy events based in Milton Keynes. Since its launch in October 2011, the club has grown from a grassroots passion project into one of the city’s best-known outlets for live comedy, regularly hosting both emerging talent and established names from the UK comedy circuit.
The Comedy Cow began as a small show for friends and family at The Crown in Stony Stratford. It was created by two comedy-loving friends — originally full-time secondary school teachers — who wanted to bring accessible, high‐quality stand-up to their hometown. By focusing on affordable tickets, a welcoming atmosphere, and a range of comedy styles (traditional stand-up, musical comedy, observational humour, dark and daft sets), the club quickly drew regular audiences.
Over the years, The Comedy Cow expanded beyond its original venue to operate at a variety of locations across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. Now hosting regular monthly events in Walnut Tree, Stony Stratford and Newport Pagnell,
