Watch two hot Edinburgh Fringe shows in development this summer as Welsh comedian and podcast host Vix Leyton brings her comedy lecture Chief Petty Officer to Fairfield Social Club for a special double bill with award-winning comedian, writer and musician Andrew O’Neill. Blending stand-up, storytelling and big ideas, the night pairs Leyton’s forensic exploration of petty grudges, passive aggression and historical spite with O’Neill’s surreal, counter-cultural comedy, honed across television, radio and international touring. ​

You’ve maybe heard of her, you just might not know how – could be comedy, could be her consumer champion alter-ego who talks about Clubcard points on BBC morning Live. Andrew O'Neill is an award-winning comedian, musician and best-selling writer. A psychedelic non-binary whirlwind, they combine surrealism, polemic and good old-fashioned stagecraft to produce uniquely counter-cultural stand-up. 

They have appeared on television in Good Omens, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle as well as in Alan Moore’s feature film The Show. They have had two series on BBC Radio 4 - their occult sitcom Damned Andrew and their genderqueer stand-up show Pharmacist Baffler.
