“My sides hurt from laughing!” Audience Review

Every month Live at the White Hart is the place for cutting-edge comedy performances - a diverse mix of some of the funniest comedians around. All brought to you by our resident MC Julius Howe.

"A true hit. Julius embodies the generational voice of so many" - North West End

This month we have another fantastic lineup of comics from the cutting edge of comedy

Bobby Jethro – A rising star on the comedy scene and proud Bradfordian, Bobby is winner of the "Ding Dong" Gong Show, “Beat The Gong" at ARC Theatre in Stockton, Beat The Frog and a Finalist on Omid Djalili's "Best Stand-Up Newcomer Comedian" competition.

PopDaddy - a popstar and daddy. Put your hands in the air and sing along as PopDaddy transforms every comedy club into THE club. PopDaddy is the creation of Paul Haworth an interdisciplinary artist and comedian interested in pop culture and politics who has performed at Battersea Art Centre, Camden People's Theatre and Islington Assembly Hall. He is the author of ‘Silk Handkerchiefs’ "Moving, powerful, furious and funny” - Matthew Green, historian and author of Shadowlands.

Madeleine Brettingham - A fantastic standup and distinguished comedy writer with a rich portfolio spanning television, radio, and print. Her notable contributions include writing for acclaimed shows such as "That Mitchell and Webb Look". Beyond scriptwriting and standup, She was a finalist in the Funny Women Awards and recently won the 2025 So You Think You’re Funny.

Giovanni Spinella - Son of a Sicilian man and a Welsh woman, Gio was the only member of the mob to put sheep’s heads in people’s beds, instead of horses’. His signature move didn’t help his anonymity and Gio therefore had to move to different places such as New York, Rome, London, Palermo, Milan, Luxembourg. A Londoner for over 30 years now, Gio spent time as a comic book collector, a local government councillor in Camden and an IT professional, all activities designed to attract women….? Currently single, Gio has started a career in stand-up in the hope of finding validation and love from strangers as he’s not getting it at home.

Lina Hall - Swedish lesbian queer act with a dark sense of humour and low standards. The Stand up club finalist 2025 and SYTYF semi-finalist 2024!

Alan Francis - Co-writer on Alistair McGowan's Big Impression, and a former winner of Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny competition. A master of acutely observed character monologues, combining the sinister and surreal with brilliant sardonic wit. “Brazen, dark and clever” – The List Alan will be joining us to try out some new stuff he’s been working on recently
