Join us for Shoe Cake Comedy’s 'Stockton On Tee-Hee's' weekend intensive improv course at the stunning Warehouse Kitchen & Bar in Stockton. We hold the course upstairs in the Star Wars themed 'Hangar 7'.
Over the Saturday and Sunday, you’ll learn all the important aspects of improvisation comedy… from how to make instant comedy from scenarios - to having the confidence to get on stage and perform in your very first improvisation showcase.
Each session is tutored by award winning improvisation comedians..

The Course
Each day you and your fellow course members will explore a carefully tailored programme that will take you through the stages of performing improvisation comedy to a level where you are ready for your first performance as a group. You then have the “option” to perform in front of a live audience in the graduation showcase.
Day 1 - Saturday January 18th. 11am - 4pm

* The graduation showcase is 4pm-5pm on the Sunday upstairs in Hangar 7 - home of our monthly comedy club.
This is where you can invite all your friends and family along to show their support.
NB: Sorry, this venue is not wheelchair accessible.

Age Restrictions:
You need to be 18 years old or over to join this stand-up comedy course or be 16/17 with parent/guardian permission.

The Shoe Cake Comedy Course Refund Policy:
£20.00 of your course fee is a non-refundable deposit to cover our admin and promo costs.
30 days before the course start date - full refund (minus non-refundable £20)
Within 30 - 15 days of course start date - 50% course fee refund (minus non-refundable £20)
Within 14 days of course start date - no refund.
In certain circumstances we may be able to transfer you to another course date if required. Please speak to us in advance.
We can not refund any amounts for non attendance.
Rules
The course is an inclusive course and we want everyone to feel happy and welcome.
We encourage your behaviour to be respectful of the other attendees. Your material you will write and perform can be a little rude, cheeky, tongue in cheek ... thats comedy ... but we don't accept any material or behaviour that is overly offensive, racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic ... etc.. you get the idea!
We will operate an open door policy and you can come and talk to the tutors anytime if you have any concerns.
By booking a place on this comedy course you are agreeing to the refund and rules policy.
We reserve the right to refuse enrolment to people we feel will not adhere to the above rules and we reserve the right to remove people from the course if they do not adhere to the above rules.

Everything was great. Being a smaller venue that is normally a restaurant made it slightly difficult to see, perhaps consider investing in a small raised platform for the performers would solve this problem.

Such a funny bunch, I was a bit spectacle as the tickets were only £5pp ( far too cheap for that entertainment) but a very good evening. I’m looking forward to the February show!
