MC Jonathan Mayor presents Stephen Bailey, Aaron Twitchen and Kate Martin!
Stephen Bailey:
Stephen Bailey is an award-winning comedian, actor, presenter and writer.
Known for being a proud northern, working class, gay man, his brand of gossipy humour has singled him out as one of the UK’s most sought-after talents for comedy and entertainment formats.
In 2024, Stephen also joined the cast of the hit Channel 5 comedy-drama, The Madame Blanc Mysteries as a recurring character, the menacing John Marsden; a character who has proven to be a hit internationally.
2025 has already been a huge success for Stephen with appearances on several primetime shows to be announced later in the year. He has filmed for Comic Relief x Morning Live.
His credits include two appearances on Live at the Apollo (BBC Two) – hosting and as a guest. He has appeared on shows including Unbreakable (BBC One), co-host on Date or Drop (BBC One) alongside Amanda Holden, Would I Lie To You?, Richard Osman's House of Games, Pointless Celebrities, Celebrity Bridge of Lies, Celebrity Mastermind & Celebrity Weakest Link (BBC One), The Apprentice: You're Fired, Between The Covers & Strictly: It Takes Two (BBC Two), Live from Barry Island (BBC Wales), The Stand Up Sketch Show, Love Island: Aftersun (ITV2), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Tipping Point: Lucky Stars (ITV) and was a regular CelebAbility (ITV2).
Aaron Twitchen:
Aaron has been making a name for himself in recent years. He is a stand-up comedian, actor and fantastically also a trained circus performer.
"Seriously talented. Hilarious, warm, energetic... the kind of new act that should have talent scouts excited and other comedians feeling nervous." - The Skinny
"Positive, fun, feel-good... Probably the best free fringe show I've seen" – Scotsgay
Kate Martin:
Kate Martin is a rising comedian known for her bold and energetic performances, often exploring topics related to her life as a queer woman, mental health, and the absurdities of everyday situations. With her sharp wit and engaging storytelling, Kate has quickly made a name for herself on the UK comedy circuit. Her relatable humor, combined with her confident stage presence, has earned her spots at major comedy clubs and festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe. Kate’s fresh perspective and natural charisma continue to captivate audiences wherever she performs.

Compere was brilliant and really brought the crowd together. Acts were all really high standard and a great night out - locally which is brilliant! Just hope there will be some Sat night or other Friday night dates soon as I can’t make the Nov & Dec ones.

Comedians were great. However the venue placing chairs facing away from the stage? Trying to cram as many people in as possible - not good.
