Get ready for a night packed with laughter at The Aviary! Join us on Thursday, 31st July at 8 PM for an incredible evening featuring some of the UK's top comedy acts.

Headliner: Mick Ferry
Manchester based comedian Mick Ferry is renowned as a fine purveyor of lugubrious surrealism. Beginning his career by making it to the finals of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny? competition, he has also won the UK Comedy Award for Best Live Stand Up, as voted for by his contemporaries. Since then, he has been invited to perform with stand up luminaries such as Johnny Vegas, Sean Lock, Peter Kay, Al Murray and Steve Coogan.

Mick performs regularly at The Comedy Store, as well as being sought after at comedy clubs across the UK and internationally. His debut at the Edinburgh Festival came when he appeared as part of the highly regarded Big Value Comedy Show and he has become a regular fixture at the festival with his solo shows.

TV credits include stand up performances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), John Bishop’s Only Joking (Sky One) and The Comedy Store (Comedy Central). He has also appeared on The World Stands Up and Comedy Blue (Paramount Comedy), and has made multiple appearances on Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live (BBC Three).

Opening Act: Kevin O'Brien

Kevin O'Brien is from Yorkshire, now based in the Northwest of England. Kevin has been doing stand-up comedy since 2018 and is a relative newcomer on the comedy scene. 

He has a sharp stage wit and specialises in family friendly, dead pan, quickfire, one-liner, self-deprecation jokes.

The evening will be guided by the charming and quick-witted MC John Gray, ensuring the laughs keep coming throughout the show.
