TweetJoin us in celebrating one of the greatest sitcoms ever made, as we welcome renowned stand-up Joe Rooney for a night of all things Father Ted!
Joe featured as the rebellious Father Damo in the classic Father Ted episode The Old Grey Whistle Theft, leading Dougal astray with his earring, cigarette smoking and bad-boy attitude.
Joe will host a screening of the episode, take you behind the scenes and set you a Craggy Island quiz–then prepare yourself for an all-inclusive ‘Lovely Girls Competition’ have you got the loveliest laugh, the loveliest walk, and can you make the loveliest sandwich?
There will also be a dancing priests competition, plus appearances from a nursery-rhyme singing Ziggy Stardust, Nirvana, Johnny Cash and many more – and the evening wouldn’t be complete without a sing-along to ‘My Lovely Horse’!
Come and meet Joe and immerse yourself in the very silly delights of Father Ted.
Ah, go on...you will! “
A purveyor of choice gags, a natural storyteller, guitar in hand, Joe Rooney delights the room with his infectiously manic delivery.” - Ardal O’Hanlon

I came to the show with my good friend, we had such a great time there.the atmosphere was good and not too over crowded. The compare in-between the acts was on fire his comedy was so good he should have a set to himself. As for the other acts they were very good, well worth the money. Would definitely go again an make it a regular thing as its nice to see up an coming new talent. Well done who was involved 👏

Comedians and especially the host were fantastic, would definitely go again (where ever based). The venue wasn't the best but didn't effect the night (drinks were cheap and does street food that looked lovely but didn't try). The ticket price is ridiculously cheap and needs raising (yes as a customer, I am saying it is far too cheap). If you're passing a venue with these guys doing an event I'd recommend giving it a go !
