Clwb Comedy is back at the Old Library, Porth after our summer hiatus and bringing the funny this month are: 

CHRIS BROOKER

A gifted performer, Chris Brooker has taken his unique mix of comedy and improvisation to stages all over the world. After a decade on the UK comedy circuit Chris has forged a fine reputation for himself as a stand-up comedian and compère. His versatility has seen him play to audiences of all sizes and backgrounds, winning them over with his infectious enthusiasm, swift wit and immense likeability. Dubbed comedy’s ginger Viking by a promoter, he really is a larger than life character.A regular performer at the nation’s finest comedy clubs, Chris can charm audiences of every sort, size and background.Equally at home at a sportsman’s dinner or in front of two thousand bikers at a rally, you’ll rarely see the same show twice from him.With three full length shows under his belt, Chris is also an award winning television writer. A former member of ComedySportz, the resident improvised comedy troupe at Manchester’s Comedy Store, Chris made history in 2008 when he became the first British player to be selected for the All Star Team at The Comedy League World Championships in Portland, Oregon.Chris is also known for his efforts in chronicling a full year of his comedy performances in his online gig diaries. These have proven to be immensely popular with comedians, promoters and audience members across the world.

KEVIN DANIEL

Kevin has established himself as one of the hottest up and coming acts on the comedy circuit. Working regularly with professional comedy promoters across the UK, his commanding stage presence, relatable exquisite storytelling, likeable character, charm, and keen eye for a joke, always leave audiences wanting more.

He has performed at many prestigious comedy clubs including, Just The Tonic, The Frog and Bucket, Hot Water, The Stand, Glee Club, Blackpool Comedy Station, Buzz Comedy, Comedy Hot Spots, The Hull Comedy Lounge, Funhouse Comedy and many others across the UK.

He has supported Fiona Allen (2023), Nathan Caton (2022) and Jack Gleadow (2021) on their UK tour shows.

In both 2022 and 2023 Kevin reached the semi finals of the British Comedian Of The Year.

In 2024 Kevin won the prestigious “Silver Stand Up” competition at the Leicester Comedy Festival
