Share:
TweetHosted by Acaprov's freestyle rap alumni and 'Off The Dome' teacher: Pascal Blaschta, who will be improvising and mixing music on a loop station to accompany performers. All that, but with some christmas vibes!
FIRST HALF: As well as warm up exerecises, expect to see our favourite games/formats such as D&A, Battle Raps, Scenes into Raps AND MORE!
SECOND HALF: A freestyle cypher and a 20 minute performance if we have a special guest.
Where we have special guests performing for 20 minutes at the end of the session, the jam may be tailored around the performer's style to help create a sense of sharing, rather than showing off.
ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME!
Please Note: Any kind of battle raps will be tailored around fictional worlds and characters, rather than the personal characteristics/lives of any performers, so there's no need to be intimidated!
We know times can be tough, so we are reserving some free places. Please email us at info@acaprov.com if the ticket price is a barrier to joining.

Essentially 2 shows in one for a tenner - Short form improv with a musical edge in the first half and a fully improvised musical in the second half with some extremely talented players. Along with the laughs were some really heartfelt moments too and the crowd were encouraged to get involved with suggestions, and (without needing the encouragement) a sing-a-long at the end. Well worth the price of admission and more.

It was outstandingly funny and entertaining! I'm still speechless about the fact that the artists on stage created a musical with a great storyline, memorable characters and wonderful songs just out of thin air! Thank you!
