River brings a unique perspective forged through activism in racial and environmental justice, and the silencing that followed. Bringing to life her tales from pole dancing to protest. River has the ability to draw comedy from even the darkest of times in her life. She’s truly one of kind. Unable to afford therapy, she found healing on stage—using humour as medicine not just for herself, but for her audience too. Honest, disarming, and deeply human, River invites you into a night of love, laughter, and truth.

Unfortunately Maisie cancelled due to illness. The notice given was rather late, however I appreciate that was out of your control. I hope Maisie manages to reschedule the gig.

Thaniya was great, it's never easy delivering a Work in Progress gig however, Thaniya did us proud. Good atmosphere, great value. Only criticism was the sound quality, it could have been better. Thank you.
