Dane Baptiste is a stand-up comedian, writer and presenter. In 2014 he became the first Black British comedian to receive a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer.

He has written and starred in the BBC sitcom Sunny D and the critically acclaimed series Bamous. 

A regular face on Live at the Apollo, both as performer and host, Dane has also appeared on Mock the Week, The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie to You?

Known for his sharp, provocative, and "truth-tinged" humour, Dane has cemented his reputation as one of the most exciting performers in the UK. 

His stand-up tours include Citizen Dane, Reasonable Doubts, G.O.D. and The Chocolate Chip, the latter released as a successful online special

He is also the creator and host of the acclaimed podcast Dane Baptiste Questions Everything.
