TweetDane Baptiste is a stand-up comedian, writer and presenter. In 2014 he became the first Black British comedian to receive a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer.
He has written and starred in the BBC sitcom Sunny D and the critically acclaimed series Bamous.
A regular face on Live at the Apollo, both as performer and host, Dane has also appeared on Mock the Week, The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie to You?
Known for his sharp, provocative, and "truth-tinged" humour, Dane has cemented his reputation as one of the most exciting performers in the UK.
His stand-up tours include Citizen Dane, Reasonable Doubts, G.O.D. and The Chocolate Chip, the latter released as a successful online special
He is also the creator and host of the acclaimed podcast Dane Baptiste Questions Everything.

Olga was Fantastic and £5 is a bargain. The Piper could be a great small venue for comedy but the chairs could be better and more thought to the atmosphere created.

She's tooooo funny and the crowd seems to gel well with her sense of humor which made her even funnier.

Venue was rubbish, the music was playing so loud upstairs you could not hear the gig very well! They either need to keep the volume down or don’t bother with it as a venue! Charlie was very good, and very interesting watching his work in progress. Such a shame I was the only audience member! And that is not a reflection in Charlie, probably just the venue!
