PHIL NICHOL Comedy Takeover
Phil Nichol : Aren't We Lucky ( Edfringe Preview / Work In Progress)
Phil Nichol is a truly unique performer. An acclaimed actor, award winning comedian, producer, presenter, writer and musician, there is no end to his talent! WINNER - Scotsman Fringe First Award 2011 WINNER - IF.COM Eddie Award 2006 (previously The Perrier, now known as the Edinburgh Comedy Award) ‘Aren’t We Lucky’ is a dynamic, wonderfully heart-warming story exploring chance, love, magic, and loss. Through the deeply personal yet funny story of his friend Kevin Hearn’s battle with leukemia, and the extraordinary chain of events that followed, Phil reflects on regret, good fortune, and the simple, visceral act of appreciating what we have right here, right now. Life itself is a lottery—and you’re already winning. “.. not just comedy but soul-quenching storytelling at its finest.” EDINBURGH FESTIVAL MAG *****

Phil Nichol: The Naked Racist ( Edfringe Preview / Work In Progress)
20th anniversary of the 2006 Edinburgh Comedy Award winning show. The unhinged re-telling of an Amsterdam trip gone wrong ending with an epiphany of epic proportions. 'You won't see many comedy shows that actually exert g-force. Exhilarating, incredibly funny and clever' (Scotsman). 'This is a show that makes you laugh and think while you are watching and then wakes you up in the night to laugh and think again' (Scotsman). 'Mind-blowing. Infectious joy' ***** (Scotland on Sunday).

What a fantastic night. Brilliant comedy, a great venue with a genuinely good vibe. Please don't buy tickets. Long may it continue to be the best kept secret in Brockley! Pete Heat was mind blowing. James Trickey is a star in the making. Yuriko was a eureka moment and the whole evening a blast. As for the dog walking genius....hilarious.
