Lineup: GARETH GWYNN & STEFFAN ALUN
GARETH GWYNN: CYRIL
Cyril Gwynn (1897-1988), also known as The Bard Of Gower, was a tall, sunburnt, unsmiling farmer. Gareth Gwynn (1983-Present) is none of these things. Gareth did not spend WWI in the Navy, has never been shipwrecked, run a farm or emigrated to Australia, but he has found a book of poems by Cyril and is determined to find something they have in common.
Co-writer of BBC One Wales' Tourist Trap.
As heard on Gareth and Esyllt's Scrapbook
(BBC Radio Wales) and The Now Show, TL;DR and Gareth Gwynn Hasn't Fin- (BBC Radio 4).
'Hilarious' - The Guardian
STEFFAN ALUN: WINDOWS
Winner of the Pegagus Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, the bisexual Welsh optimist returns with a brand-new hour of brilliant comedy. With strong opinions on pub quizzes, Stranger Things, behaviour on public transport, and why his mother's pretending his childhood home contained an extra bedroom.
"Warmth, wit, a proudly offbeat perspective" - BroadwayWorld.com

I've been saying for years now that rooftops are the place for comedy. We tried bringing it to the streets, and it did not work so this was the best way to get as far away from that as possible. Was I impressed by the high quality entertainment offered for a very reasonable price? Yes. Did the soft summer breeze add to an atmosphere so soft and lilting like the kiss from your first love that felt not like you were watching a comedy show, but being bathed in one? I would describe it so. I couldn't have wished for a better evening.

The comedians were incredible, only hampered by the venue's subpar microphone quality and poor ventilation
