We saw Spencer when he last visited MK with Comedy Cow and were keen to see him again. Our friends made a trip from Stockport to visit us with this as our main aim. He has a rare ability to challenge audiences with his humour whilst making them feel very much cared for and safe. Some comedians make you feel on edge slightly in case of being "picked on". Spencer somehow allays that entirely, allowing you to relax into his show as if a friend. His timing and presentation is spot on. Not many comedians make me laugh so much. I love his inventive artistry, props and story making. I guess I'm also drawn to someone who focuses more on celebrating human inadequacies as opposed to mocking them. Looking forward to seeing him again!
