Award-winning comedian Shane Mauss wants to take you on a full-on psychedelic adventure. Full of insane visuals and hilarious storytelling, his latest two-part comedy special, Trips, does just that, with the "First Dose" premiering on 800 Pound Gorilla's YouTube channel.

In the First Dose, Shane explores the strange history of LSD, the eternal mushrooms-versus-acid debate, and what to make of “bad trips.” He collaborated with over 20 psychedelic inspired artists whose work was mixed in real-time by veteran concert VJ Michael Strauss. Filmed inside a 360º projection / LED-wall space, it was the first special ever approved to be filmed in the visionary art mecca Meow Wolf in Denver. A niche topic made accessible, Trips is a vicarious trip for the inexperienced and an impressive representation for the veteran explorers.
