Job-related stress higher if you're an idiot who expects work to be pleasurable

According to groundbreaking research, people who naively think that work should be enjoyable are more likely to experience high levels of work-related stress.

A study reveals that those seeking fulfillment at work often end up crying in the restroom after receiving 'constructive feedback' from their boss. Professor Henry Brubaker humorously notes that only a handful of people genuinely enjoy their jobs, including, surprisingly, two traffic wardens in Bradford.

Professor Brubaker advises that true joy is best found outside the office, suggesting that popular sources of happiness include watching strangers miss trains and discovering on social media that old friends have gained more weight than you.

He humorously recommends that if employees must feel something at work, they should opt for anger or contempt, which might even lead to promotions.

Caroline Ryan, a corporate worker, shares that she's thriving at work because she shut down her emotions years ago, and reactivating them would only lead to despair over her dead-end job.
