“If They Don’t Like It Here They Can Leave” Say People Who Don’t Like It, but Are Curiously Still Here

In a delightful display of irony, anti-immigration protesters who are vocal about their dissatisfaction with Australia have suggested that those who don't like the country should simply leave. One protester, in particular, expressed this sentiment while simultaneously listing 48 changes he'd like to see implemented.

The group's demands are a mixed bag, including fewer immigrants, more jobs, new governments, different laws, and better wages – all while claiming to be happy with Australia as it is. They also wish for a return to a 'better' past, although the specifics of this golden era remain undefined.

Cheryl, a protester, humorously highlighted the paradox by stating she loves the country but not its people, government, or even its TV shows. However, she admitted to enjoying Yum Cha with her family on Sundays, showing that not everything about Australia is lost on her.

Organizers are planning another rally to demand that 'Australia go back to the way it used to be,' though they couldn't pinpoint exactly which decade of Australia's immigrant-rich history they were longing for.
