In an unexpected twist, Australia's fuel woes seem to have been solved by none other than Domino's Mega Meatlovers pizza. The Australian Government has announced that a vast, untapped deposit of oil has been found within this popular pizza range, much to the delight of drivers who can now look forward to lower fuel prices.
Prime Minister Albanese, speaking from outside a Domino's store in Enmore, revealed plans to convert the pizza outlet into an oil refinery. Holding up a slice of deep-dish BBQ sausage and onion, he declared, "With just what is produced at this one location, we will have enough oil to meet Australia’s fuel needs for a month."
Fears of over-reliance on this new oil source were quickly dispelled when it was confirmed that just half a Philly Cheesesteak pizza from Domino's special range could completely replenish the national oil reserve.
Domino's expressed their excitement about finding an ethical use for their product, but not everyone is convinced. Some critics argue that this solution is anti-competitive and are calling for the government to explore energy options from other pizza chains, like Pizza Hut or Crust, to ensure a balanced pizza-powered energy sector.
