Christopher Macarthur-Boyd's Latest Comedy Special Is Heartfelt and Hilarious

Christopher Macarthur-Boyd is best known as the co-host of the award-winning podcast Here Comes The Guillotine with Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe. He's also graced the stage as the two-time presenter of the BBC New Comedy Awards, compere of BBC’s Hogmanay comedy showcase Scotland Stands Up, and starred in BBC Scotland’s Up For It. His special Scary Times is a new stand-up special where he finds humor in everything from an abduction by a heroin addict to a diagnosis of imminent blindness.

Following his debut special Oh No, Macarthur-Boyd defies the sophomore slump with a rollicking hour of dark, clever, and heartfelt stand-up in front of a sold-out hometown crowd. Directed by John McCormack, known for Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow and Kevin Bridges: The Brand New Tour, the special is dedicated to the memory of his late grandfather. 'Scary Times' blends the robust craftsmanship of old-school traditional stand-up with the emotional intelligence and political savvy of modern alternative storytelling.

Don't miss the premiere of Scary Times on 800 Pound Gorilla's Comedy Exports YouTube channel on December 17th at 9 AM CST/3 PM GMT!
