Amazon is creating buzz around its upcoming James Bond film, following their hefty $1 billion purchase of the franchise. The new film, humorously titled No Time To Sign, will see the iconic spy, James Bond, pit against the menace of collective bargaining. Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, expressed enthusiasm about bringing Bond back to cinema screens, where he will battle a unionized workplace. The plot centers on Bond and his team, including Moneypenny, Q, and MI-6’s legal counsel, as they aim to thwart Dr. Weingarten, a villainous Teamster turned supervillain. Along the way, Bond will team up with the Pinkertons, a retired private equity investor, and a femme fatale corporate lawyer to cross picket lines and defeat the evil mastermind. Notably, Amazon is determined to cast a non-SAG actor for Bond's role, ensuring no union ties in their production.
