TweetStone Circle Comedy Clubs Swansea are back again on Jan 14th with another killer line-up at the Garage Music Venue Uplands (Part of the Whitez snooker hall)
So come and join us for a full professional line-up of hilarious comedy.
Our acts are as follows…Our Opener is -
MR BADGER
Mr Badger may have a slightly tarnished past and his glory days are well behind him but after accidentally falling into the stand up comedy scene recently, his career is back on track and it won’t be long until the BBC are in touch again (for something other than a Jimmy Savile documentary).
Join this decrepit entertainer as he tries to make sense of the modern world via the gifts of music and magic.
Our middle act is –
TOMMY SMITH
tommy has been smashing it with his original, realistic and naturally funny Jack the lad comic humour.
He has been busy learning his craft by performing at great venues across South Wales and Southern England, Including -
The Glee Club, Cardiff.
The Comedy Store, London.
He also did a live performance on BGFM radio, and during the drought of gigs because of Covid, he did a live slot for the Canadian Comedy Dojo on Zoom.
Tommy also did 3 consecutive nights at the Edinburgh fringe this year 2022 and is smashing his opening spots and as a regular headline act
Tommy hails from Caerphilly in South Wales, but i can assure you there's nothing cheesy about his witty and waggish routines.
I'm sure you'll find he's a very progressive and appreciated fresh talent on the comedy circuit.
Our Headliner is -
SIKISA
Sikisa is a comedian, writer and producer from South London who has never forgotten her Barbadian roots (yes, the country famous for rum and Rihanna).
Sikisa has been named one to watch with her authentic, fearless and vivacious personality and on-stage presence since winning the public's vote in the 2017 BBC New Comedy Award competition, for which she was a finalist. She has quickly made a name for herself on the comedy circuit with her unique style and has become a regular performer and MC at some of the UK’s favourite comedy nights. She is also a three-time Leicester Festival Aware nominee for Best Newcomer 2020, Best appearance 2021 and best show 2022 with her work in progress shows.
Outside of live work, Sikisa has featured on Live at Apollo (BBC), Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Sorry I Didn't Know (ITV), Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club (ITV), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), Pie And A Pint (Comedy Central), Off Menu, Evil Genius (BBC Sounds), Perfect Sounds (BBC Sounds), Wheel Of Misfortune (BBC Radio 1), The Leak and Mach Fest (BBC Radio Wales). She is also a regular writer for BBC Radio. She is also an alumni of The Soho Theatre Young Company and a proud member of The Cocoa Butter Club.
