TweetHere it is! The full lineup for April 3rd's show at The Bugle Horn!
Dee Allum headlines!
Dee is an award-winning stand-up comedian and writer.
Dee started her comedy career performing sketches with the Cambridge Footlights and wrote the prestigious Footlights Pantomime in 2018.
Dee has been nominated for Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards, placed as runner up in the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year award 2021, won the 2Northdown New Act Competition 2021 and was a finalist in the 2022 BBC New Comedy Award competition.
Dee took her debut solo stand up show, Deadname, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024 to wide critical acclaim, receiving reviews such as: “A story of gender identity told with panache, charm, self-deprecation and copious wit…an inventive, casually ironic storytelling skill…a true stand-up.” ★★★★ The Times
She has also starred in ITV’s The Stand Up Sketch Show.
John Jacobs opens the show!
Originally from Washington DC, John starred on MTV’s “Are You The One?” and “The Challenge,” and has been performing all over the country in clubs and colleges opening for comedy greats such as Anthony Jeselnik, Nick Swardson, Margaret Cho, Doug Stanhope, Damon Wayans, Ron White, Godfrey, Chris Kattan, Natasha Leggero, Big Jay Oakerson, and many more. John is one of the original co-founders of the award-winning satirical news team, “Tampa News Force.”
Valeria Vulpe
Valeria is a Moldovan comedian based in New York and frequently performing internationally, including at Broadway Comedy Club in New York, San Francisco Sketchfest, Edinburgh Fringe, Top Secret Comedy Club in London, etc. Formerly a mathematician, she brings quantitative precision to her storytelling. Her comedy blends the absurdity of growing up in post-Soviet Moldova with the stark perspectives of an immigrant to "the West".
Pete Kinsella
Life’s tough when you literally don’t fit in. And Pete’s a big guy. They say ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’ and he is no exception. Behind the crumpled and ripped Frankenstein dust cover is a modern Pride and Prejudice. Well. Sort of. Whatever you think of him at the start, this gentle giant will soon have ranted his way into your heart with his tirades about modern life and self-deprecating humour.
