Sorry, I Didn't Know gets sixth series

ITV1 has announced the return of its panel show 'Sorry, I Didn't Know' for a sixth series, set to air later this year. The show, which humorously explores black history, will continue to entertain audiences on Sunday evenings in October or November with five new episodes.

Chizzy Akudolu is stepping up as the host for this series, filling in for regular presenter Jimmy Akingbola, who is busy filming an American drama. Joining as a team captain is Richard Blackwood, bringing his comedic prowess alongside Eddie Kadi. The show's producers, TriForce, have promised a series full of mind-blowing questions, wild answers, and the inevitable comedic rivalry between the team captains.

Fraser Ayres, co-creator and executive producer, expressed excitement over the new lineup, saying, "Chizzy has been part of the SIDK family since the pilot and was fantastic as a host last series. Richard and Eddie's long-standing friendship promises a hilarious dynamic. Chizzy's unique brand of chaos will keep everything on track, or not!"

Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime Commissioning, added her anticipation for Chizzy taking the helm, noting the show's infectious humor as a testament to its success.

Fans can grab free tickets for the studio recordings happening in July, ensuring they don't miss out on the live fun.
