Katherine Ryan is stepping into the animated world by voicing a cameo role in the new action-comedy sequel, The Bad Guys 2. She'll be playing Maureen, the hyper-organized assistant to state governor Diane Foxington, voiced by Zazie Beetz.

The film follows a group of animal outlaws as they try to adjust to being the 'good guys.' However, they're lured out of retirement for 'one last job' by an all-female squad of criminals. Ryan expressed excitement about the role, noting that it's something her kids can finally respect.

The returning cast includes Sam Rockwell as Mr. Wolf, Marc Maron as Mr. Snake, and Richard Ayoade as the villainous Professor Marmalade, among others. The Bad Girls gang will feature voices from Danielle Brooks, Maria Baklova, and Natasha Lyonne.

The UK theatrical version of this DreamWorks Animation film is set to hit cinemas on July 25. Get ready for a mix of action, adventure, comedy, and a bigger heist!
