Albanese says his position on bombing Iran was unilaterally decided by America

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told the press gallery that Australia completely backs America's decision to involve the Australian government in the bombing of Iran. In a press conference, Albanese humorously dodged questions about Australia's involvement, simply repeating that the attack was 'unilaterally' conducted by America.

"When it comes to the issue of my position on this bombing, I can't answer questions about decisions I didn't make," joked the PM. He insisted that any further questions about the matter would only receive the same answer regarding America's unilateral actions.

Adding a comedic twist, he stated, "It is Australia's position that America had no other option but to escalate, but also we are against escalation not done by our allies. If the region becomes unstable, America had no part in that. It is also the official position of Australia that our favorite social media app is Truth Social."
